For a market so fixated on the next data release it really never goes anywhere! Since the first of December 2022 we have been in a box. History tells us that the longer it coils in the range the bigger the move. To confound things even more, a significant portion of the time, that is about half the time, the market makes a false move first to shake out the weak holders on the correct side, and attract more participants to the wrong side.

Hence still preaching patience. Because the move away from here is likely to be significant, the best strategy is to wait for a direction to establish and then get on board the pullbacks. All my strategies are set around this principle. Six months from now patience will be very evidently the right strategy in this market. It may not just not feel like it, while going through it right now, but if you can sit on your hands now you have the best chance to profit later.
